On Sunday, 24 May 2026, Lodge Kingsford Smith 1028 proudly demonstrated the true spirit of charity and community service by hosting a Bunnings BBQ at Bunnings Bankstown Airport.
The event was held to raise funds for the upcoming Region 3 Gala Night, with all proceeds supporting the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation (SCHF).
Thanks to the generosity of the local community and the dedication of the members, the day was a great success, raising more than $2,500 for this worthy cause.
A heartfelt thank you goes to all the Brethren who volunteered their time and effort on the day, working the “Working Tools” with enthusiasm and teamwork.
Sincere appreciation to members of the public who stopped by, enjoyed a sausage sandwich, and contributed to supporting children and families in need.
