On Tuesday, 12th May, a remarkable milestone was reached within the history of our jurisdiction—one that may stand unmatched for generations to come. Right Worshipful Brother Jim Hatzis, PSGW, undertook his 200th Raising, a profound achievement that speaks not only to longevity but to unwavering dedication, skill, and love for the Craft.
To honour this extraordinary contribution, District 34A hosted a Combined Meeting specifically to celebrate this momentous occasion. The gathering was more than ceremonial; it was a heartfelt expression of gratitude from Brethren who recognised that they were witnessing history in the making.
The evening took the form of a Past Master’s Night for a Third Degree, graciously hosted by The Cedars Lodge 1041. Presiding in the Chair was Right Worshipful Brother Mohamad Nahas, PAGM, whose leadership and presence set the tone for an event marked by dignity, precision, and deep fraternal respect.
Adding further significance to the occasion, the work was undertaken in the presence of the Most Worshipful Grand Master, Most Worshipful Brother B. Khristian Albano. His attendance underscored the importance of the milestone and reflected the high esteem in which Right Worshipful Brother Hatzis is held throughout the jurisdiction.
