On Saturday, 2 May 2026, Lodge Sylvania 853 gathered at the Sutherland Masonic Centre for its Installation, marking an important milestone in the life of the Lodge and the beginning of a new Masonic year.
In a ceremony conducted with dignity, Brother Jason Haynes was installed into the Chair of King Solomon by the Installing Master, Worshipful Brother Ben Hardman.
The occasion was further enhanced by the presence of distinguished guests, including Right Worshipful Brother Bruce Munro, PDGM, and Most Worshipful Brother Jamie Melville, PGM, who were accompanied by a supportive delegation of brethren, reflecting the strong bonds of fellowship across the Craft.

The Lodge acknowledges Ben for his dedicated service to Lodge Sylvania over the past two years as Worshipful Master.
